ABOUT KATRINA

My name is Katrina J Harris. I’m a Healthcare professional with over a decade of experience working within the intricacies of individual healthcare and management. I discovered my desire to work with people during High school where I obtained my certification as a Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide. After which I began my career starting with a 9-year position with Interim Healthcare. I also spent some time doing miscellaneous lab jobs with the world-renown University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2011, at UNMC I became a Phlebotomist. The following year, I found my niche working with children who had special abilities in Pediatric care. At that point, I knew I wanted to pursue my LPN and RN which I completed in 2017 and 2018 consecutively. On a personal note, I love to help children be the best they can be and also love to share my knowledge with others through teaching and training. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family Henry Doorly Zoo is one of my favorite stops. I also love assisting others in need by donating clothing and food to local organizations.
